FABA™ Applications and systems

The FABA™ range of products is the technical solution suited to all sites needing to install a means of vertical access allowing the involvement of the operator secure from the consequences of falling.

The user must wear the safety harness approved for this purpose that he will connect on the fall arrest carriage which will be inserted into the FABA™ safety rail. The FABA™ fall arrest systems, in compliance with standard EN 353-1, are recommended to guarantee the safety of the operator during his ascent or descent. For all other operations carried out from an installation equipped with a FABA™ system, such as for example repairs, element handling, works etc. it is imperative to be connected to a supplementary safety means before starting the operation. Likewise it is obligatory to respect this procedure before disconnecting the FABA™ device at whatever exit point and where there is a risk of falling.

The FABA™ systems are supplied as complete ladder with a central upright integrating the fall arrest safety rail or just as a safety rail for adaptation on classical ladders or existing rungs.

With no height limitations, the applications are numerous for movement of the operator upwards or downwards (e.g. manhole accesses). Depending on the site, the environment or the specifications, FABA™ systems are available in galvanised steel, stainless steel or anodised aluminium.

The fall arrest systems in the FABA™ range are therefore usable on all types of posts, masts or towers, on all buildings, metal constructions, industrial structures or chimneys as well as for mine shafts, sewers, manholes etc…
