Principle of the Tirak™ X- and L-type traction hoist.

The units of the X- and L-type traction hoist Tirak™ have only a single drive disc. The grip of the wire rope on the pulley is obtained by springloaded pressure rollers.

The L-type traction hoist Tirak™ is much lighter in weight but still durable for temporary access applications that require frequent movements of the hoist.
