Climb Assist

New Tractlift™ Type II climb and descent assist with adjustable pulling force by user remote. Two remotes are available and depending on the remote chosen the climb assist pulls with a pulling force up to 250 lbs (110 kg). Tractelift™ Type II was developed listening to Windmill Technicians in the field. Technicians wanted a system that was easy to use, provided a smooth and more powerful adjustable pulling force while climbing and descending. Tested in the field users agree that the Tractelift™ Type II has achieved these goals and more.

The TRACTELIFT™ Type I is a climb assist system that relieves the weight of climbers while ascending and descending the wind turbine ladder. The TRACTELIFT™ gives traction relief in an adjustable pulling force up to 90lbs (40kg).

The TRACTELIFT™ Type I is easy to install, offers a continuous run rope loop and can fit virtually onto any kind of vertical ladder. With an adjustable clutch allowing the user to choose their own pulling force, this feature gives the TRACTELIFT™ more advantages over the competition. This gives our customers what they need – a product that decreases employee turnover due to fatigue and injuries and reduces costs in recruiting and training. The TRACTELIFT™ can be fitted with a fixed or detachable motor, depending on the user’s preference.
