The first man remote hook can be used in rescue applications for the retrieval of a victim suspended in a fall arrest system.

The pole is used to attach the carabiner to the back D-ring of the harness of the victim. In conjunction with a victim tranfer pulley or a derope® A, the victim can be lowered or raised to safety
