PalTurn™ load turner: lifting and turning heavy loads

Because every turning application is unique, Tractel® can design a system in order to optimize the weight, dimensions, power and price for your application.

Generic options:

• Hanging System: there are several upper hooking systems for single or double hooks.
• Autonomous model (with batteries)
• Remote control with or without infra-red
• Double speed motor
• Frequency inverter
• Supplementary Lifting Points: fixed or adjustable
• Retractable Lower Hook: this option allows load lifting without setting down the PalTurn™. It makes the installation of PalTurn™ straps easier for some applications.
• Load Hold: the choice of the strap’s length and type (endless or opening) and its coating (impregnated or coated) is made according to: the load, the set-up and use conditions, and the sling andle.
• Chain Pulley: for high temperature loads (> 80°C)

Options exclusive to the PalTurn™ Tube:

• Fixed or adjustable load-centre straps
• Light and/or sound warning signal when tilting
• Handling Framework: the handling framework, on request, allow a secured moving of the device with a lifting truck. The framework can also be equipped with wheels for a surface moving.

Special applications requiring the use of 2 load turners in a synchronized use: it is possible to use 2 synchronized load turners with the same control in the case of very long loads or when 2 lifting means are used to obtain the adequate lifting capacity.
