New HT22 harness packaging

Tractel is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its products throughout their entire lifespan. As part of this effort, the company is phasing out all plastic packaging in favour of sustainable, mostly recycled materials. One major step towards this goal is the introduction of new cardboard packaging for the HT22 fall protection harness range.

Starting in January 2023, all HT22 harnesses will be shipped in recycled cardboard boxes rather than their previous plastic packaging. This marks the first time that Tractel's harnesses will be packaged in cardboard, and the company plans to transition all other harnesses to cardboard boxes made from recycled carton in 2023 as well. Tractel is also working on developing and improving carton boxes for its lanyards and fall arrest devices.

The new HT22 packaging offers several benefits over its plastic predecessor. It is made from 100% recycled cardboard and is easy to store, with a shape that allows for efficient shipping and storage with minimal wasted space. It also has better in-store visibility, as relevant information can be easily read regardless of how the product is stored on shelves. Additionally, the cardboard material is environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable, making it easier to sort during the recycling process.

Bulk packaging for the HT22 harness will now be supplied with 16 harnesses per box rather than 20.
