Alimak Group acquires certain assets of Camac Minor Hoists

Alimak Group has acquired trademarks, customer and supplier data, and product related know-how of Spanish Camac Minor Hoists, SL. This is a minor investment, and the financial implication of the transaction is not material to Alimak Group.

With this acquisition, Alimak Group will be adding ladder hoists and a complementary scaffolding hoist to our light construction product portfolio. These products are essential for solar panel installations and for moving minor building materials vertically at construction sites. We will also add specialised sales representatives and channels focused on the light equipment segment, allowing us to reach a broader customer base.

In addition to this, new products such as wire rope hoists and ladder hoists will be added to the Heights Safety and Productivity Solutions catalogue.

“The addition of drum hoists, manufactured in France with Tractel’s quality standards will bring additional value to our distributors and end users, with a particular emphasis on construction professionals. This is one more step into our customer-centered, profitable growth strategy” says José María Nevot, Executive Vice President – Height Safety & Productivity Solutions Division.
